Should I attend? Most definitely!

We want all our parents, teachers, trustees, friends, alumni and alum parents to come together for what is always a fun evening.

What should I wear?  Something to have fun and stay warm in!

Western-themed apparel encouraged: cowboy boots, hats, jeans, and plaid shirts are just some ideas. The event will mainly take place outside, so please dress warmly. And don't forget your COVID-19 mask!

What COVID precautions will be in place?  Many!

The event will mainly be held outdoors, however masks are still required for all guests when not eating or drinking. Food and drink will remain outdoors to allow all guests to be masked during indoor activities.

What is the schedule for the evening?

6:00 - Doors & Bars Open Outside

6:30 - BBQ Dinner Opens Outside

7:30 - Dinner & Bars Close

7:40 - Guests Mask Up & Move Inside for the Live Auction & Fund-a-Need

8:25 - Bars Open Outside and Socializing Resumes

Our chef aims to please and wants you to enjoy your food to the fullest. So email us right away with your food restrictions: auction@saklan.org

What can I bid on?  Items small and items priceless!

From student artwork to once-in-a-lifetime experiences, there are choices in all price ranges. Silent auction items start at $20. You don’t have to spend a lot of money, just your time with friends. :-)

What are we raising money for?  A multipurpose room!

Our Fund-a-Need this year will be to create a multi-purpose space out of our outdoor pavilion. Currently, the space is used for Lower School lunch, but it can be chilly and damp during the winter months. We plan on creating a space that can be used as an indoor or outdoor classroom, depending on the weather and need. With the right design and furniture, the pavilion could be used as meeting space, PE space, assembly area and more.

Will there be an MC or Auctioneer?  Yes!
