Should I attend? Most definitely!

We want all our parents, teachers, trustees, friends, alumni and alum parents to come together for what is always a fun evening. This year's event will focus on community building and have several activities (games, photo booth, raffles) to encourage socializing and reconnecting with old friends while also making new ones.

What should I wear? Something to have fun and stay warm in!

This is a casual event with activities taking place inside and outside, so please wear something that is comfortable and will keep you warm. We want this event to be uplifting for everyone, so please refrain from engaging in stereotypes and dress in a way that is festive and respectful. Vibrant, bright colors and patterns are encouraged. Click here for inspiration.

What is the schedule for the evening?

6:00 - Doors, Bar & Photo Booth Open

6:15 - Taco Bar Dinner Opens

7:45 - Last Call for Taco Bar

7:50 - Program Begins

8:25 - Socializing Resumes

What's on the menu? Tacos!

The event will be catered by Bay Area Taco Catering. Guests will be able to choose the fillings for their tacos or quesadillas.

What if I have dietary restrictions?  Not a problem!

Vegetarian and gluten-free options will be available for all guests. If you have another dietary restriction, please let us know right away. Our chef aims to please and wants you to enjoy your food to the fullest. So email us right away with your food restrictions: ewilliamson@saklan.org

What can I bid on?  Items small and items priceless!

From student artwork to once-in-a-lifetime experiences, there are choices in all price ranges. Silent auction items start at $20. You don’t have to spend a lot of money, just your time with friends. :-)

What if I can't attend?  Not to worry, you can still be involved!

Even if you can't join us in person at the Fiesta, you can still be involved in the auction. From donating wine for the wine ring toss to underwriting a teacher's ticket, there are many ways to show support for the event. This year's silent auction will again be online, so all community members can participate in the auction even if they can't be at the event!

Is there a Fund-a-Need?  This year we actually have multiple fund-a-needs!

Instead of having one large fund-a-need, this year we have several different projects/items that we are raising funds for. They are:

  • Collaborative, Flexible Seating for Indoor & Outdoor Spaces
  • The Summer Reflection Fund/Professional Development for Saklan Faculty & Staff
  • Media Arts Literacy
  • Water Refill Station for the Early Childhood Area
  • All-weather Library Book Return Station
  • Indoor Vertical Garden for the Science Lab
